fast as we can secure Drs. We have furnished our city school dist., there are twelve in all. Three others are working as [presub?] and will finish next week when three others will begin. Two large fellowships in the the country are at work. He had a fig "4" but the three men in charge failed to get us scales so we lost some time but at least got the work well started for the County work. The County Chairman has been out of town for 3 weeks, and I am acting in the city with good keepers. Mrs WB [Borurifield?] is County Chairman. I hope to finish this present work up in good shape thou I am sure it is advisable for you to appoint some one else for Wapello. For I have done all I could under existing circumstances. I will write to Mrs. [Spraule?] to that effect. A Mrs. [Phaudow?] from Dubuque was here to inspect the progress of our Child Welfare the day of our meeting of the Woman's Bureau. She says the report [is a?] Miss Hartley but I told her Mrs Whitley was the head of our work. I still can't locate her. She seemed to think we were doing a lot. Very Sincerely, Mrs J. Hutchison
