cathedral is breath-taking. One finds it hard to believe that the pictures, statues and construction are man made. They tell me that in 4 or 5 months I'll have the opportunity to go home on a 30 day furlough--when that comes around I'll drop in to see you. My work in the army is welding--you name it--I've welded it, cigarette lighters glass frames to heavy steel tanks, etc. (I don't mean armored tanks) I am in the air corps. Being a boilermaker for 5 year prior to my entry has helped a great deal in the construction of shower equipment etc. In closing I can assure you, your little paper helps build morale to a great extent.
