-4- have a sort of provisional company out here. Some 40 or 50 of us. We are helping to discharge to Filipino guerrila soldiers. Very ironic. We may move up to a Replacement Depot near Manila next to do the same kind of work. Guess my only way out is to find the best looking girl I can and settle down and stay for life. Going to have to stay anyway; so may as well enjoy myself a little. As ever, Bob [Pfc. Robert J. Nicola] P.S. T. J. [Berdo?], Bill Arnold, and I were getting together and going places until I came out here. Good to see them.
