Feb. 14 [1946] Dear Dave, I guess I should have written a lot sooner but there hasn't been much doing around here. We are now based at Sosebo, Japan. We came up here from Hong Kong about two weeks ago. When at Hong Kong, we had hops to Manila and Shanghai and we had pretty good liberty. Up here all we do is fly mail to Okinawa and there is practically no liberty. I was lucky enough to see Max Bales when we first arrived here but his ship left the other day. Our crew has been busted
