We had to take over the [Piers?] for about two weeks until the civilian workers finally got the strike ironed out. I don't think the Army would have them back now if it weren't for having to feed them. Because the G.I.'s were tripling their tonnage records. We took a bunch of green men down there and they really did fine. Well now that the Flips are back on the job. They have us down there as supervisors. Guess the Army is going to step clear out of the picture in a few days and let them alone. And then this outfit will go to Japan.
