it or that it's the only place they can get. I think it would be a good idea to sell the [Decarah?] farm, its too far away to give enough attention and it would relieve Dad of a little more work. I'd hate to start in fixing on the house too after old Berg has lived there so long, I used to think it was nice when it was well kept but I wonder now. Would like to have a barn that good on my place but maybe someday I can. Uncle Earl must be doing very well for himself financially with two jobs, he always seems to find a lot to do must be a very capable fellow and smart. Im glad he has something to fill in with his teaching seems to me thats a hateful job. Just came from chow, Vienna sausages (we have too many of them and got my mail, had a letter from you mailed July third with the clippings in it, the V mail one mailed the same day only got here yesterday so it made good time. Say I almost lost this letter, found I'd thrown the first page away with some other old papers I had and I had to dig it out of our waste box. It will be rumpled up but perhaps readable.
