Don't know whether he will publish it or not.-- The Army and Navy Young Men's Christian Association Headquarters, 124 East 28th St., New York The Association Follows the Flag on Land and Sea Public Correspondence Table at Camp Cody NM Oct 1, 1917 Dear folks at home:- Just dropped in the Y.M.C.A. tonite and thot it a good time to write home. Would have written sooner but was waiting until I could send you my new address which the Captain just gave out tonight. We are trasferred to a machine gun company and stay here for six weeks then go to Fort Krooke near Omaha Nebraska. We haven't done a thing as yet but simply lay around. We will move tomorrow to a place nearer town which is three miles from our present
