Passing thru the foothills we sure saw some fine scenery. We reached Deming Sat morning at about eight ock, and we were all glad to get off the train. For we had just the regular day coaches with chair seats. And maybe you think it wasn't uncomfortable sleeping. We spent a good share of our time that way too. In fact that's all we had to do was eat and sleep. They let us off to go uptown at two places -- Liberal, Kansas,
