conditions. We had two blankets apiece and you can imagine how comfortable it would be sleeping on the ground or rocks with only two blankets. Lots of the fellows had trouble with their feet . Next to water, the care of the feet is most important. We washed them every night. I came thru without a bit of trouble with mine except one little blister on my little toe that was caused by sand in my shoe. Thats something very few fellows can say.
