I'm pleased with Mary's plan. Suggest to her that she include grosgrain ribbon for the fronts and buttons, as I couldn't get them here. It will be very nice to do the knitting. The locker has been swell. Not a dent in it yet, and it held everything. The G.I.'s did groan when they lifted it, though. I should say we did see the gliders, etc. We always do, and it's thrilling. I'm glad Laura is in Waterloo, as that's where I wrote her. Yes, E.T.O. is European Theater of Operations. I think the Kodak is all right - at least the last batch of pictures turned out well. I took almost a roll in the Highlands this last week. Yes, the card I enclosed was where we walked. Nice little poem. I don't feel as mysterious as it implies, but probably it will be years before the subject is well covered in conversation. Yes, Wales is beautiful. Even in winter, I guess, as there isn't as much difference in the seasons as at home. I don't know what the trees were. They were around a church where the girls had classes. You could do just as you like about Mary's ring. It would be nice to have it set if you can find her size, I think
