all day Sunday. My, how I should have hated that! (Like the devil) We are putting on Division guard now. Half the company go on every other night. That puts every man on guard every four days. But I wont hit Sunday again. Thank the Lord. I was on first relief and didn't get to sleep only three hours that night. Haven't caught up yet. That's why I'm so sleepy and the reason that this letter won't be very long. Gee, but it's getting most awfully hot down here now. But the wind blows to beat h--l every day and keeps the sand flying. Don't know which I like best--the heat or sand. But there's an unlimited quantity
