Camp Cody June 29-18 Dearest folks at Home:- Excuse this writing paper for its all I have. Its absolutely too hot to live down here. We don't live -- we only exist. Your last letter came Thursday. I sure needed those stamps. There was a Division review this morning. Of course they waited till the heat of the day to have it 10:30. We got back at 12:00 sharp. Oh but I was hungry. We drink lots of water down here. Thursday and Friday we went to the range for pistol practise.
