as when you was here we had lots of winter here all though the month of December had the best sleighing I ever saw in this country but it is spoiled now has thawed enough so it is neither sleighing or (whealing?). I just got done hauling 1000 bushels of corn to (illegible) got 17 (illegible) not very much but better than last winter I think corn is going to bring better more money soon and in fact all kinds of grain. So much for Republican administrations and the restoreing of Confidence let the (Pops?) howl and the Democrats
