raiding party on the French and done them some damage. I just got back to the Co. last night have been going to a divisional school for Signal men. I have a working knowledge of the blinkers, flags (prigons?) rockets and telephones. In fact this course covered every kind of Inf. laison work. I haven't the least Idea when we will go home. but they don't drill us quite as hard and we don't have to wear the gas masks and helmets any longer and that is one consolation. for six weeks or more day and night I was never without that old mask and how I used to cuss when I had to wear that old steel hat but when an air plane would get right over our heads and the anti air craft guns
