and when I take the dam old pack off and step out of the mustering office you can bet I'll be a happy kid and there are no black marks on my service record and there isent going to be. I decided today that I was going to have a real dinner so two more fellows and I went to the butcher shop and bought some beefstake and hired a French lady to cook it for us. with fried potatoes. it sure was good and cost us about a dollar apiece meat sure is high I paid a $1.50 for three rings of blogna last sunday. It sure seemed good to set down to a table with a clean white table cloth
