Saving...
suppose they will get us home as fast as they can for I don't know what earthly good we are doing over here if we were even in the army of occupation it wouldent be so bad. but we are in the second army and we don't do anything but drill play war walk guard and ect. While the war was going on I (never?) thought of home, but once it is over I cant think of anything else. I guess I will be able to get a pass before long but the only kind of a pass I want is one to England and if I cant get that I don't want any. Ethel said you wasent going to let Roland have the place so you looked for me home sometime in February. now I don't know where you get that February stuff for if we are I don't know anything about it. and I kind of wish you had let him have it for honestly I don't much look to be home before mid summer
