One night I says "Jack you have had a lot of this game what do you think about the stories they tell of the things the Germans have done. Well Jolley he says I'll tell you some of it may not be true but I'll tell you what I do know. On one front where I was the Canadians made a raid on the German lines and lost two officers wether they were killed or taken prisoners no one will ever know but the next morning they were both nailed to barn doors and up on the parpet of the German trench after that the Canadians never took a Prussian prisoner. and I don't believe this fellow would like about it. so if any of those pro Germans around there try to tell you it is too bad to make the German people suffer for what their rulers done you tell
