March 1, 1919 My Dear Mother; received your letter of the 11th last night. and I am afraid I cant tell you any good news about comeing home the A.E.F. news paper the Stars and Stripes gave a list of the divisions that go up to July 1 and we are not mentioned so I guess we are in for it. but the U.S. has rented a thousand acres of the French and are opening up a big farmers University and if you have a high school Education you can attend so I have put in for it. If I have got to stay here that long I might as
