April 19th 1885 Dear Friend Libbie I will try and [illegible] your kind and welcom letter we were verry glad to get we Received the 17th well Libbie I am glad you have got a good home and i wish you and your husband hapiness threw Life ido think you deserve a good home it has [been?] a Long time Since you had one i can Remember when it was you did not tell me what your wedding dress. was nor nothing a Bout what you had other things tell me whether your Father got you any thing in the cloth Line. Libbie it is none of my Bred and Butter But i do think your Father had ought to gave you more as hard as you worked for him Tell me what his [companion? illegible] and all [illegible] for i wish you well as any one good Lands good crops and a happy Life what more can I wish From Your Friend Phebe and Sister Send me your Picture if you had any taken write soon as you get this now dont wait verry long is a piece of Ediths dress
