I haven't been over there yet. I have had the sore eyes since I came here. Now I must thank you for your trouble in trying to get me a school. I am a thousand times obliged to you until you are better paid. I would have written to you before but I was waiting for my photographs which I had taken at Independence so that I could send you one. So they came a few days ago. I send you one such as they are they are not very good. Now I shall expect one of yours. Please excuse my scribbling for the(ripped) are going to town and I want to send this to the office. I am writing as fast as I can make the pen go. They are hitching now.
