I am paying the same. I have inquired if there was any letter for you here, but there was none. I will inquire again tomorrow. [illegible] having a very back[illegible] I have 50 acres of small grain in and just commenced plowing for corn. If you should sell your land you had better come out here or see our country. I have received letters lately from your Uncles Thomas and Samuel. They were all well. We are pretty well, and hope you keep the same. Accept our love. From your Uncle J. B. Packer
