love cream puffs & there was only one, so they bought a dozen eclairs & we ate them all. I said I could make better cream puffs that the one we had & before I knew it I was elected. Butter is hard to get but they asked how many pounds it would take, so I guess it is no problem to them. So before I see them again I have to be all set. We got home about 1:30 & I found a new girl in my room. I met her this morning. She is from Smith, has been in aeroclub overseas in ETO & is going in my group. Her name is Charlotte Littrell & I like her a lot. She has to go home for some dental work the 10th & is to report back to Wash. the 20 something so I'll probably be here till then. I like it a lot, so don't mind. Today I worked 1 - 6:30 at the club nearer here. Played bridge till 4:30 & a nice fellow helped me with my pool game till 6:30. They take all kinds of pains with my lessons & they're very sweet. I'm going foraging in the ice box now. Love, Helen (over) P.S. I sent you a watch today by insured mail. Hope you like it. Couldn't get a lady's watch.
