Saving...
suit in brown & tan & green jersey print (8.00) Tomorrow I want to get a couple of tops for the evening skirt, one white lace & one colored. Also some white shoes & some gray raffia ones. Maybe a bright, gay, raincoat & head scarf. That about winds things up. Not so drastic, is it? Already I want some things, but you'd better wait & send them when I get settled. I want my green jade ring, a book (dark red or brown) called "Learning Spanish" & a couple of yellow Spanish conversation pamphlets. Helen Crum is still at Nice and sick to death of it. I loved two weeks but felt satiated. I bet we'll be in Palm Beach till early February anyway. What a swell spot & time. & I'll be over being sick, I think, so I can bask on the sands in my new togs. Love, Helen P.S. I'm still cross about your taking that money out of your account. If I were nearer I'd thump you.
