Take 19 oz of flour. 1/4 loaf sugar 2 oz of butter 3 Eggs well beaten 1/2 pint of new Milk warm the Milk as warm as the Milk from the Cow a large spoonsful or yeast, and a little lemon peel set them in a warm place to rise and make them 3 square, wash them over with milk and sift some sugar oven them.
