A Cooling Drink 2 Tea spoonfuls of sweet Nitre, 2 ditto Cream of Tartar, to 1 pint of cold water, Take 2 Wine glasses in the day Morning and Evening. Mrs. Howe Sewd. 1852. Syllabub. To 1 pint of Cream, put 1/2 a pint of Raisin Wine, 3 Table spoonsfuls of loaf sugar, squeeze a good slice of Lemon, then beat it up to a good Cream. Mrs. Howe Sewd. 1852.
