Gymlals. [illegible] 2 lb of flour 1/4 of butter 1/2 lb of sugar 6 eggs a little mace & some water. Pancakes. Mix 1 pint of milk with as much flour as will make a thin butter put in a [illegible] of brandy a little mace, ginger & salt break in 4 eggs beat them well together till they are smooth put in a large spoonful of butter cut it down on one side then turn it & brown the other side sprinkle sugar over them send them to the table hot with beaten cinnamon & firm sugar in plates. Puff Paste for Tarts. 3 lb of flour 2 lb of butter 3 eggs beat to a foam roll in 1/2 lb of butter little salt wet with cold water. Chutney [illegible].
