34 To preserve Apricocts 111th Lyun's Way to a pound of sugar a pound of Apricocts add y.e wait of y.e stons & peals, for it must be a pound, when stond & peal'd; your sugar must be beet fine, & put some(?) at y.e bottom of your preserving pan & put y.e(?) in as you peal & stone (?) & put y.e rest of e.y sugar upon (?) & let (?) stand all night. To (?) in halves is best- Slce some Apricocts into water & boyl gentley a little while, y.n take a quarter of a pint of that liquor & put in your preserving pan before you st y.n on y.e fire to preserve
