44) haveing Soe done make it up in Little Cakes, as you Shall think fitt, you must keepe it in a marmalate box neare ye fire that it may keepe dry, and it will keepe 2 or 3 yeares. A must Precious Oyle Take a pound of Camomile and as much of greene [illegible], Southerwood, & wormood, shred these herbs very well together & then put them in a Gallon of the best Salate oyle & let it Stand 9 dayes, & Stirr it every evening and morning, then take two hand fulls of Rose buds, pull them Slip [illegible] handfulls of Lavander tops & put them in the herbs & oyle & after nine dayes boyle them upon Ember 2 houres gently & Stirr it all the while, & when it hath boyled one houre take a pinte of aqua vitae & as it boyles put in a Little & a Little till all be in, & when it hath boyled 2 houres Straine it through a Cloath, & chrush the herbs very well & when it is very cold put it up in glasses, & Stop it very Close, all these herbs must be gathered in May when the dew is not upon them.
