thing but an added note here and there will interest her I'm sure. I've met a friend of Betty Wilson's here - Helen Drew -and she is a darling. She's much like Betty - friendly and easy to visit with. She is Camp and Hospital Service. We are hoping to get together some nite soon. I'm enjoying living here with Kate. As you know we live out pretty far so I hie myself forth every morning at 7:30 a.m. in utter darkness with a sandwich, a carrot and an apple under my arm and I don't return until dark at nite - sometimes a beer or cocktail delays my return but I get in in fairly decent shape - possibly giggling a little but I always am able to come in thru the door. I just can't tell you how very much I enjoyed your letter. And, Helen, if you possibly can, please do write me when you "land" and know something of your assignment. If you are allowed to I'd love to know what the hospital is like, the living conditions, the work, the fun etc. And, my dear, I wish you the best of luck and a grand experience.
