Saving...
more real and tangible and wonderful! So I'm waiting patiently for a discharge. I say patiently, because Aaron came up to Ft Lewis the other day (a civilian!) and will stay with me until my discharge comes through. What more can anybody ask. Just as soon as that comes through, we're taking off for New York. You know, I haven't seen my Pop yet. By the way, Iowa is on the way. If I thought you were home, gosh, wouldn't it be nice seeing you! Or do you want to wait until your front porch is littered with little Aronsons. Iowa City is not really on the beaten track, so I'm afraid I shall not ring your doorbell, just in the hopes of seeing you. Yes, it would be nice meeting your mother too. Sorry, pet, it would have to be much more definite than just chance. Some day, perhaps. And wait, I haven't finished telling you my plans. From New York, after seeing friends and family and gathering up all our worldly possessions, we'll be off to New Mexico.
