Curry Chicken Mother Prepare and joint 2 chickens - stew & add 3 slices Pork until done - then brown a little - take the liquor the chickens are stewed in add 1 cup milk - 1 tablespoon curry - and a little flour to thicken - after stirred well put in the chickens & cooked 15 minutes if the gravy is not sufficiently rich add butter. Oyster Patties Mrs Wnyes Make some rich puff paste and bake it in very small tin patty pans. When cool turn them out upon a large dish. Stew some large fresh oysters with a few cloves, a little mace and nutmeg, some yolks of egg boiled hard & grated a little butter and as much of the oyster liquor as will cover them. When they have stewed a little while, take them out of the pan and set them away to cool, when quite cold, lay 2 or 3 oysters in each shell of puff paste.
