Dry Curry 1 lb steak cut in small square pieces, 1 apple & onion minced very finely. Put a tablespoonful of butter on to brown. Put in the meat apple & onion & a tablespoonful curry powder. Stir a minute or two then stew an hour & a half and add a little salt lemon juice or vinegar may be used for the apple Lemon Biscuits 1 1/2 lb flour, 1/4 lb fresh butter 1/4 lb sugar, the grated rind of one lemon, 1 or 2 eggs. Rub the butter into the flour add the sugar & lemon rind (or a spoonful of ground ginger)
