Golden Cups 2 cups sifted flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup butter or margarine 1---8 oz package cream cheese (softened) Sift flour andsalt or use wondra (no sifting) In medium bowl blend butter & cream cheese until there are no streaks, add flour mix and shape into a ball. Refrigerate. Filling 2 eggs 1-1/2 cups light brown sugar (packed) 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine 1-1/2 cups coarsley chopped walnuts 1/4 teaspoon vanilla Beat eggs at medium speed add brown sugar, melted butter, dash of salt. Stir in walnuts & vanilla. Dough Divide dough into four equal parts, From each fourth of dough make 12 small balls. Refrigerate all but 12 balls, place these into small ungreased muffin pan. Press in with fingers to form small cups. Fill each cup with about a teaspoon of filling. Bake for about 20 minutes in a 375 oven until browned. Cool a few minutes before removing from pan. Makes about 48 filled cups. Solo canned filling could also be used. Dear Miss McQueen, Here is the recipe you asked for. The small muffin tins can be bought at Mettger here in Garfald.
