I suppose the fact that it must give you more time to sit around with your feet on the desk is alone responsible for your "mannish" remark -- "I suppose all this must interest (?) you greatly." You are evidently a victim of spare time, and thus spend several minutes occasionally (nearly doubled the "y") thinking over the uselessness of womankind, and of the simple wants of womankind -- in fact, of the simpleness of womankind in general. Let me arise to remark that I am one who cannot be contented just because some one gives me a sock to darn. I can, at times, force myself to take an interest in outside affairs, and lots of times I've found myself wondering about the next U.S. President to be elected by men, many of whom are not so well educated, nor able to earn as neat a salary
