Saving...
April 24, 1945 Italy Dear Dad & Mom: Another fine spring day but just a bit cool. A fire feels plenty good tonight, was lucky tonight and got in on the hot water in our shower before it ran out. Now I'm sitting beside our stove and listening to Bob Hope's program which is funny as usual. Had a good night at mail call, got three letters two V-mails and a long air mail. The airmail one came the quickest it was mailed the sixteenth and the others were the eleventh & twelth. Glad you had a nice drive and day for it when you & Vivian went to Cedar Rapids. Say I meant to ask you or do you know where Helen Wilbur is, over here. I believe she's doing Red Cross work and is in Italy or am I wrong about that. Dont know whether Id know her or not its been so long since I've seen her. Yes I remember Dads friend Mr.
