Just wrote a letter to Uncle Raymie he seemed quite discouraged about all the wet weather they've been having. How is it at home? as bad as out there. Sure hope Bill got fertilizer for the corn to hurry it along especially if the season is going to be so backward. Our mail didnt come in this morning, dont know what the difficulty was, perhaps it wasnt sorted out in time or something. Should have a big one at four oclock. Envelopes and stamps are rather a problem down here all the gummed surfaces stick quite badly. Luckily I've quite a stock and waxed paper to store my stamps in so I havent lost many. Noticed you have stopped sending V-mail I'm glad and besides they arent photographed and go like any common letter. This is it --- Love Johnny
