UNITED STATES FOOD ADMINISTRATION Burlington, Iowa J.F. Deems U.S. Food Administration for Iowa Mrs. Jacob Sims County Chairman Women's Committee Denison, Iowa June 17, 1918 Dear Mrs. Whitley, Very great interest in the U S Student [horse?] Reserve is taken here and I have a good committee at work. Our Chautauqua begins tomorrow (Thursday) and we will have a place with banner etc. to call attention to the campaign - and have some one in attendance to explain. If you have any samples, literature, statements, etc that would help now I would be very glad of some. I could have some things copied. I was very glad to get the leaflet with committes etc, as I gave mine, which I received in Des Moines, to Miss Ida Wallace, Sec'y Civilian Relief. Yours cordially Anna H. Sims Chautauqua lasts a week.
