We got to Almira about 11 aclock. Then we marched down to thee barracks. When we got there the boys ware a sleep but we pulled them out and had a good time. We then marched and got each of us a straw tick They are about 6 feet long and 2 feet wide and you can put 2 in a birth. The barracks are about 20 feet and 125 feet long. The birthes are on each side like this | Bed | Bed | Bed | they have got one | Bed | Bed | Bed | grand eating barrack about 6 hundred feet long and 50 feet wide and three tables the full length.
