f Fairfax court house VA the 10 of March Dear father I take this opertunity to write a little to you. We got here this after noon, yest day morning we were at at spring mills and we were orded back to fairfax station, and we start and It began to rain and rained like pitchforks, till this morning. We got to farfax station about 3 oclock in the afternoon and and camped the best we could. We slep in a mill pond for the first time. This is all I can write now. I will try and write a little more before I go to bed. This morning we got orders to move to fairfax court house that is 2 miles from fairfax station. We have been here about 3 hours and now the whole division but our battery has gone
