Farmers are sowing wheat Lots of it and every one will do everything they can raising foodstuff, we are all eating all the flour substitute's we possibly can to save for the allies We have milk and plenty of eggs get from 8 to 12 a day which isnt many compared to some others but we sell some every week They were 32 per dozen yesterday. We haven't had a letter from Daphne for some time but it is my fault as I didn't write her as I should I'm going to write her again soon any way I think about her so much and long so to see her She has crept right into my heart. She has written me such wonderful letters. Did I tell you that Esther Lenocker Rubys daughter and Charles Marsh were married? Monday morning - This is sort of a diary, a record of daily happenings I had to quit to get ready to go to May Daytons funeral in the afternoon Of course there were lots of people there as she was so well loved she was wonderfully kind and gentle
