The best picture now in the room is that which watches me from the dresser top. Know the lady? I don't know how I could do without that picture. Our coming here and getting settled occupied the whole day. It is two miles from the station to our billet. No transfer companies operate. We made shift to get our baggage by having it piled on top of a load of cinders that was coming this way. Having my trunk again after being without it for days I feel almost permanently established.
