Forty-four. April 3, 1918. My dearest,- I am sending to you in another envelope a booklet by Josephine Leonard on the subject of you and me and our romance. It's exceedingly clever. I know you'll have a bushel of fun over it, just as I have since it arrived, evidently much delayed through having been addressed to the war college. She must have worked days getting the material together and linking it up according to a plan which I suppose she originated. I have written her enthusiastic thanks for her interest and effort in sending us a post-wedding commentary
