As the wheels rolled away I thought of the changes that had come to this country since that time so long ago, more than sixty years. There are few of those old pioneers left - except Uncle Wm and I. They asked about all you children while we were visiting a little before the service. I told them where your wife was and Mrs Vance seemed to know all about Cottey College and the Cotteys. I did not get to talk with her but a minute so that was all she told me. We are making great plans to meet Daphne at Cedar Rapids and are anticipating a very happy time. We will do all we can to make a happy
