The Boches had attacked the sector early in the morning and the resulting show was at its height when I was talking to Zim. He told me some of the interesting tales that had filtered back to him. At the beginning the Huns took Seicheprey (the name has gone into the press reports, so I can put it in my letter). Afterward our troops drove them out. Seicheprey used to be one of the pet show-places for visitors, but it got too hot of late to be visited. I remember it particularly for a narrow escape I had there from being in the spot a shell chose upon which to light and explode. I had a hunch and turned in another direction just in time.
