She certainly is one of the most selfish little beasts I ever knew at times, and I almost hate her. Trixie just came in with Lillian Blackburn, and she had her arms full of things for me. She had been down town, and she smuggled home a bottle of beer (from her Uncle's house!!) and some cheese & rye bread. I had to stop writing, of course. They locked the door and fed me, and in the meantime, Trix talked about the time she went down and tried to talk to you. Lillian never did meet you, but I remember sending her sister, Katherine, down on a dare, to talk to you. Do
