9 Your reminder of the plan we had considered with the Sanborns revives my regret that it can't be followed up. But I think you will agree with me even though you can't know conditions here as I do, that it is not at all advisable - even disregarding the fact that there is a definite regulation against it. I don't believe the Sanborns will come over now. Now I think I'll run away for awhile. Possibly, I'll write again tonight just to try to catch up with the flood of things I want to say. But I'll put them in another letter anyway. I love you like everything and everything. Always your Conger Best love to Li'l Mother.
