9 time I do though, I'll tell him about your mentioning him in every letter you write. Here is something you want to hear: I am well and happy to be serving and love you lots (more than that!). My shoulder will be ready for your head the minute I can come home to you. It is always ready, darlingest, and I'm always wishing that your head could cuddle in its place. Daphne, dear, your letters are like bursts of sunshine. Their wonderful spirit of love makes me very, very happy and content. I read them over and over like a miser counting his gold - only differently, because my glorying in them is not selfish. I think I am entitled to enjoy them to the utmost and to live the happiness of my thoughts of you. I am so much the better on my service of the purpose for which I am here because of the joy of soul that you bring to me. You are simply splendid, do
