I do not regret any of my lectures this morning save the one to Mrs. Austin. She is one of these people who pride themselves on the fact that they can fight their way thru. She has a very lovable daughter, and they both study with me. Mrs. A-, when ever my piano is not going, seems to feel that I am not earning my salary, so she comes in and takes up any few minutes I may have to spare by demanding help on some of her work. I am giving Goldie two extra lessons every week to help get her program ready, and the old dame gets all that is coming to her, too. She is simply despised by everyone, and I've tried so hard to like her. I've held in my temper because of her age, but this morning it
