wish there were more American troops over there. Everything takes so long! And one never knows just what part of the newspaper stories to believe, thanks to some imaginative reporters. (Ho! Ho!) When women get the vote - I say when they do, you watch for a better adjustment of national affairs. Men never can manage by themselves, but it takes some of them a long time to find it out. (No, nothing personal in that.) Now I'm going to dress. I'm sitting here freezing my feet off, but I want you to know I got out of bed just to write to you. We had a wonderful rain and electric display last night. I'd not have missed it for worlds, tho I like a good wind storm better. I was in one good cyclone down here three years ago, and last year we had the tail end of another. The wind blew every hairpin out of
