to ask that." Of course he wants to be remembered to you with greetings and good wishes. My trip to G.H.Q. yesterday was very pleasant. I got to see a lot of my War College classmates -- whom I had not seen in three weeks. Next to Zim they seem more like old pals than anyone else over here, though my associates at my present station are beginning to seem quite as good fellows. The boys at G.H.Q. wanted to hear all about what I had been doing and upbraided me for what they termed my good fortune in being thrown with so many interesting chaps and getting to see so much of what is going on. My wood supply has run out and I have not had it replenished because I'm contemplating a change of billet. Consequently I am done up in a bathrobe to keep out the frissons.
